Vladimir Nabokov
Vladimir Nabokov was a Russian writer of novels and short stories, as well as the author of autobiography, memoirs, essays, plays, and poetry. His most famous work is Lolita (1955), a novel that has been subject to censorship and controversy since its publication.
Vladimir Nabokov was a Russian writer known for his novels "Lolita" and "Pale Fire". He was born in St. Petersburg, Russia in 1899. He studied at Cambridge University and Trinity College, Cambridge. Nabokov wrote many novels including "The Real Life of Sebastian Knight", "Invitation to a Beheading" and "Ada or Ardor: A Family Chronicle". He died in 1977 at the age of 77.
