The Police is a British rock band that came together in 1977. The band's original lineup consisted of three members: Sting (lead vocals, bass guitar), Andy Summers (guitar) and Stewart Copeland (drums). The Police became globally popular in the late 1970s and early 1980s and were ranked as the world's 4th best selling music artist of all time.
