Lonestar is an American country music band formed in 1992, initially consisting of Richie McDonald, Michael Britt, Keech Rainwater, and Dean Sams.

Their self-titled debut album in 1995 marked the beginning of their commercial success with the hit "No News". Lonestar continued to make an impact with albums like "Crazy Nights" (1997) and "Lonely Grill" (1999). Their 1999 ballad "Amazed" became a massive crossover hit, earning them accolades, including the ACM Single of the Year. The band has consistently produced country hits such as "Smile" "What About Now" and "I'm Already There".
