Kim Taehyung(BTS V)
Kim Taehyung is a singer, dancer, actor and model from South Korea who is also known by his stage name V. He is a member of the band BTS (Bangtan Boys or Bulletproof Boy Scouts). He was born on January 30, 1995 in Daegu and has an older brother named Kim Seokjin, also known as Jin. He studied at Hanlim Multi Art School. Taehyung originally auditioned for JYP Entertainment with plans to become a professional golfer but was rejected due to his small size. He auditioned again after seeing an advertisement on TV and was accepted into the company's training system in 2010 at the age of 15. During his time in JYP Entertainment he was part of three different boy bands: Team A (2011), Big Bang (2012), and 2AM (2013). In 2013 he made his acting debut in KBS2's High Kick Through The Roof where he played the role of Choi Sungjae alongside Yoona from Girls' Generation. In 2018 he joined BTS as its fifth member after being introduced through their song "No More Dream" (2016) which featured his vocals along with Rap Monster's.
