John Wyndham
John Wyndham was a science-fiction writer who explored human survival in the face of catastrophic natural phenomena. He was known for writing stories that take place in comfortable English settings, but suddenly have disasters strike that test the characters resolve.
John Wyndham Parkes Lucas Beynon Harris(1903-1969), or John Wyndham for short, was a British author who published work under multiple pseudonyms before World War II, including John Beynon, Kyle Hunt . His most famous pseudonym is John Wyndham, which he used after the war. His is known for many novels, such as The Day of the Triffids, The Kraken Wakes and The Chrysalids, as well as his short stories.
