Creedence Clearwater Revival

Creedence Clearwater Revival is an American rock band from El Cerrito, California. They were active from 1967-1972. The band's music, rooted in rock and roll and country music, is often referred to as "swamp rock" or "bayou rock". They are noted for their blues-influenced guitar riffs. Creedence Clearwater Revival had six singles in the Billboard Hot 100: "Proud Mary", their best-known song; "Bad Moon Rising"; "Green River"; "Down on the Corner"; "Travelin' Band"; and "Lookin' Out My Back Door."
