Chesterman Beach

Chesterman Beach is a favorite spot for locals and tourists alike. It's located just a half hour drive from Vancouver, on the west coast of British Columbia. This beautiful sandy beach has been named one of the top ten most beautiful beaches in the world by TripAdvisor, and it's easy to see why. The crystal clear water is ideal for swimming and snorkeling, and there are plenty of spots to park and picnic. Chesterman Beach is also known for its long stretch of soft sand that makes it perfect for sunbathing or building sandcastles with your kids. There are lifeguard stations but no lifeguards on duty during the off-season (mid-September through May).
