As the names suggest, they're upgraded versions of the impressive A5, A15 and A25 the iconic audio firm launched in 2023.There are three key upgrades here: upgraded circuitry including Arcam's latest Bluetooth platform; refined components; and intelligent power management. The 2025 versions of the A15 and A25 also add HDMI eARC, and if you plump for the A25+ you'll also get a precision-cut glass front panel designed to complement Arcam's A25 streamer.(Image credit: Arcam)Arcam A5+, A15+ and A25+: key features and pricingAll three amplifiers now have Bluetooth 5.4 with Auracast, aptX Lossless and support for Snapdragon Sound. The A5+ has 2 x 50W of class AB power and a tuned MM phono stage, and the more powerful A15+ ups the power output to 2 x 80W.The 2 x 100W Class G-powered A25+ gets the biggest update of the range, including a new transformer. That features a dedicated winding for the digital and DAC circuits, double linear regulation in the analog power supplies and refinements to its power and mains filtering to lower its impedance and improve overall clarity. The A25+ also gets an ESS9018 DAC dedicated to its SPDIF inputs, a USB-C input and an OLED display behind that glass panel. The A15+ gets a transformer upgrade too, while the A5+ features improved components that reduce PCB interference and lower the power supply impedance. All three amplifiers are improvements over their predecessors, but those improvements do come at a higher price – presumably due at least in part to current and potential US tariffs. Where the A5, A15 and A25 were launched in the US at $699, $999 and $1,499, the new A5+, A15+ and A25+ are $1,199, $1,499 and $1,999 respectively. Pricing for other countries hasn't been announced just yet.All three amplifiers will make their debut at CEDIA Expo this month (September 2025), and will ship in early Q4 2025.You might also likeCambridge Audio's elite EXA100 amplifier covers the past, present and futureGot a spare $23,000?
