Victory can be achieved in various ways, but only one faction can become the ruler of the galaxy by claiming the throne on Mecatol Rex.

Players also receive two secret objectives at the beginning, which only they know. These objectives can involve technological advancements, taking control of specific systems, or other goals. Players can claim one public and one secret objective at the end of each turn. The game continues until a player reaches ten victory points.
