As the main rapper and lead dancer of GOT7, he contributed to the group's success since their debut in 2014. Mark, scouted through a global audition, showcased his multilingual skills with fluency in English, Korean, and Mandarin Chinese. Apart from group activities, he pursued solo and collaborative projects. In 2021, Mark chose not to renew his contract with JYP Entertainment, leading to his departure from GOT7. Despite leaving the group, Mark continues his career in the entertainment industry.
