Journey

Journey is a progressive rock band from San Francisco, California, who formed in 1973. The band has achieved worldwide success, selling more than 32 million records and becoming one of the most influential rock bands in history.

Journey's distinctive sound can be attributed to its lead singer Steve Perry, who has been the only constant member of the group. The band's current lineup consists of Neal Schon (guitarist), Ross Valory (bassist), Jonathan Cain (keyboardist) and Arnel Pineda (lead singer).

Since its inception, Journey has been led by guitarist Neal Schon. He co-founded the band with former members Gregg Rolie and Ross Valory in 1973 after they had left Santana. It is largely due to Schon that Journey's style can be described as "progressive rock."
