Adam Levine, an American musician, actor, and television personality, is the lead singer and chief songwriter of Maroon 5. He also gained fame as a coach on the television singing competition The Voice.

He started his career as a solo artist in 1994 with the band Kara's Flowers.In 1997, the band split up without success. In 2001, they were reformed, but with a new guitarist. They changed their name to Maroon 5 and released a new album. The album went multi-platinum in the US.
